Ian’s working life has been in: ergonomics and vehicle design, design and branding, and strategy and communications. Out of the office he is a keen flier, albeit with no licence. He has flown an English Electric Lightning, Marchetti ST260, Mustang P51D, Aero L-39 Albatros and a de Havilland Chipmonk. He is keen to add to the list. He does his best to apply his professional skills for the benefit of the charity.

Stephen Mosley

Stephen first became aware of the Schneider Trophy as a child, the start of a continuing journey of discovery into aircraft and the between wars period in general. As time has passed, it is this series of races (and the Supermarine S series of aircraft in particular) that have consistently taken centre stage among numerous other interests.His varied career in engineering design started on satellites and included being appointed Design Office Manager for a small aircraft company. This role included setting up of the office along with its processes, carrying out initial scheming of the aircraft and looking after the design of the fuselage. Stephen has spent the last couple of years as a consultant engineer on a university project introducing local SMEs to Industry 4 technology.Stephen has also built a second career as a professional journalist, artist and photographer. He was shortlisted for the Guild of Motoring Writers' prestigious Feature Writer of the Year award in 2021 and had works auctioned at the Royal College of Art.

ETPS graduate, current Sea Fury display pilot. (18 years of display flying) Types: has displayed SeaFire, Sea Hawk, Swordfish, Sea Harrier, Harvard F35 Flight control development Pilot at Boscombe Down on the VAAC as well all Marks Harrier and Jaguar R&D. Presently flying the Hawk as an aggressor pilot.

Mike is the Voice of the Supermarine Seaplane Project, narrating and editing many of the project's videos. A diverse career: an MPhil researcher, Strength & Conditioning coach, Copywriter, Voice Over Artist, Event MC, Video Creator and Metalworker, Mike is well suited to bring unique insight to the project.Mike has had an interest in aviation since childhood, joined the Air Cadet Organisation, flying in multiple aircraft types and instructing younger recruits in the Principles of Flight to help them gain their qualifications.
